Professor Jamsranjav Norovdondog

Specialist in Neurology and Traditional Medicine

  • Born: 1960, Tsakhir village, Arkhangai Province, Mongolia
  • 1979 – Graduated from Secondary School No. 47 in Ulaanbaatar
  • 1979–1985 – Studied general medicine at the Mongolian State Medical University (AÜDES)
  • 1985–1986 – Head of the medical service in military units No. 137 and 265 of the Mongolian People’s Army
  • 1987 – Began working at the Central Military Hospital under the Ministry of Defense in the departments of internal medicine, dermatology, neurology, and surgery
  • 1987 – Completed specialization course in neurology
  • 1987 – Served as physician to the Minister of Defense of Mongolia
  • 1987–1992 – Neurologist at the Central Clinical Hospital of the Army
  • 1992 – After passing competitive exams, appointed as a research physician at the Institute of Traditional Medicine, conducting research in Mongolian traditional medicine
  • 1992 – Completed a course in traditional medicine, followed by professional training in acupuncture and moxibustion at the Central Hospital in Hohhot, China
  • 1992 – Came to Poland under an intergovernmental agreement
  • Since 1993 – Neurologist and specialist in traditional medicine at the Central Clinical Hospital and Consultation Center in Kraków
  • 1995–1997 – Consulting physician at the Pediatric Specialist Hospital in Mikowice (Kotwice, Poland), advising Polish doctors on acupuncture for children with congenital brain injuries
  • Since 1997 – General Director, leading physician, and consultant at “Jamukha” Ltd.
  • 2004 - Earned the title of First-Class Physician in neurology and traditional medicine
  • 2004–2007 – Studied and trained at the International Center of Auriculotherapy in Lyon, France; participated in conferences in France, Germany, the UK, Poland, and the Czech Republic

Professor Jamsranjav trained in auriculotherapy (treatment through points on the ear) under Professor N. Tömörbaatar – Doctor of Medical Sciences, Member of the Academy of Sciences, Rector of the School of Traditional Medicine at the Mongolian Medical University, and “Honored Doctor of Mongolia”.

He fondly remembers his mentor, with whom he collaborated on developing this field in Mongolia.

Drawing on his years of experience in Europe (particularly in France and Poland), he authored a textbook on auriculotherapy.

  • 2017 – The manuscript was edited by Dr. habil. S. Oldokh, Professor of Traditional Medicine and Acupuncture; published in 2021.
  • Since 2007 – Founder, General Director, and Consulting Physician at “Mon-Med” Ltd.

  • 1991 – Honorary Diploma from the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia
  • 1991 – Commissioned as Captain in the Mongolian People’s Army
  • 1992 – Medal commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Mongolian Armed Forces
